How to choose your size system:
A family of 4 - 5 uses approximately 5 - 6 gallons of water at any given time. There may be occasional spikes up to 8 GPM. A 9 or 10 gallon-per- minute system is usually more than enough for the average American family. Larger homes may want to consider a 12 or 14 gallon-per-minute system, or higher, depending on the number in the home and the number of bathrooms.

In stage 2. Water passes through granulated activated carbon (GAC) cartridge.
